A Community Supported Agriculture customer subsribes to a farm and in exchange for pay or sometimes work will receive a share of the farm's harvest. CSAs are great for farmers becuase they will know they know have a steady income from their work and can share the rewards and risks with their customers. As a customer, CSA subscibers receive a bounty of locally produced fresh food and customers then have a direct connection to the food they are eating.
